Lima Travel guide
Living the LIma LIfe
Lima is a city with more than 12 million inhabitants… Accordingly, it takes some time to get to know Lima, the capital of Peru. At first, you might dislike this big city a little bit (I did, to be honest). However, you will find that there are more nice places to eat and activities to do than time allows. I had the pleasure to live in Lima for 6 months and loved it. Accordingly, in this Lima travel guide, I try to show the wonders of this city that I came to love!
On this page, you will find insider tips for when you travel Lima for only a few days. You could take a surf lesson at Makaha beach, enjoy Limas gastronamy and dance the night away at the many clubs and bars Lima features. We, for instance, wrote you a guide with where to go which night. Futhermore, this is where to get your pre-drinks for before the night starts!
However, also when you plan on staying in Lima for a longer period of time (for instance because of student exchange or internship) we love to share some Lima travel tips with you. We will tell you where to live in Lima, how to use Lima public transport, make a day trip to Punta Hermosa. Or where to buy your water and secondhand clothes. More is to come in the future!
